Velocity

I was the first one from my batch who got placed into an Event Management Company "Velocity Brand Server"...Yippee! i had something to share with my frenz, but hold on EVENTS!!! Aditi have you ever thought of getting into events. But then maybe life wanted to show me something....hmmm n the boss...(sir forgive me for this) So i Reached Delhi, place where i had to work....eekks! i hate the heat n traffic there. but paapi paet (Sinful Stomach)... s177, GK2, New Delhi was where i had to report. so like a good girl with my parents, in my sneakers n jeans(thinking a cool place to be into events) entered the office... Strange was the look of the people around. Maybe they thot the same for me. lots of them waiting in que for some interview. What! was i suppose to give an interview again along with these funny looking teenagers. I felt like an "amma" amongstthe YO kids.

Entering into a room I saw few men in formals, probably my co-workers. showed one of them my appointment letter. Alas! i was given a chamber to sit in, to wait for my new boss. AC taking heat off our head and cold water soothing our thirst, me along wid my parents sat there listening to the ticking clock.

2 of the most intelligent people (let them feel the same) then approached us to give us the information about the company and its work. hmmm...so it was not exactly like what i Thot...its not only sho-sha thing, but a lots and lots of work....

Then enetered the star of the sign, a gentle looking smart lady who gave me a jerk and informed me about the dressing code. Lady you are into a corporate now, so no more college clothes...What into the collar thing throughout the week... huh!!! in the heat...but thankfully A.C did work...

So my normal office life began, and then came my first show, the first event, Radisson NOIDA... a corporate event. I was asked to take care of the back stage , but man its all different when the show is on. Completely on my toes. Looking back and fore-stage. Running here and there with full-on enthusiasm. MY FIRST EVENT, had to be perfect. Muzic, Lectures, Dance, Drinks were all in the show. At last the event came to an end. it was 1.30 a.m...tired to my **** but then it was fun...lots to tell my folks... client was happy boss had to be happy so every1 was happy happy....

the next event was scheduled in Mumbai... the Maya Nagri... I had to be there.... Leela's oh Gosh the place to be.... Awestruck , but like a Corporate Client Servicing personnel i entered the premises...by this time my boss started trusting me and after handing me my lappy (MY PERSONAL LAP-TOP) He left for Delhi and left me to make all the damn arrangements... but hello this is Mumbai with no staff around, what and when i had to do was the question!!!but hello...here came my saviour, my office mate who handled the entire thing just on a click of the mobile. and things went smooth... I juz had to meet people and give them a killingwa smile and ofcourse sign on the behalf of VELOCITY!!!

Event was fun, better than the 1st one... my saviour had come down a day prior to make last day arrangements... Our EMCEE was just too cool... Made good frenz wid her in the next event in Pune... and then my boss Threw a bombshell...Aditi u r transerred to mumbai... like hello what???

i got juz one day to pack my belongings and adieu my beloved PG mates... Packed the stuff and flew down to in the dream land. Was happy coz was to meet my sis, who is in mumbai...and had to put up wid my aunt till the rains and i could find an accomodation for myself. But the rains never stopped and I Was back to my home-town on my MOM's call!!!Home sweet Home....
